Elisa Juri is an Argentinian filmmaker and writer based in Hamburg. She studied at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires and completed an MFA in Narrative Film at HFBK Hamburg with her film La erosión acelerada de estas rocas en verano.
She later received an Ibermedia scholarship to attend Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, where she developed an editorial project based on film archives called Lúnars.

Her films An Open Book Is Also The Night and Water Swirls Towards The Opposite Direction On The Other Side Of The Equator have premiered and screened at festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, GZDOC, Bendita Tú, La Mida No Importa, Athens Int. FF, among others.

Her texts—either in Spanish, English or German—have been published in literary journals and film festival publications alike, such as Textur Mag, Artxiboa [SSIFF], T*Issues Publishing, Toxicxs Ed. and WDK, among others.
